My Story
I started my career in space as Head of Orbital Systems within the Chief Engineer’s Office at the UK Space Agency. At UKSA, I oversaw the technical aspects of UK spacecraft licensing and developing technical licensing assessments for novel missions, including large constellations and active debris removal (ADR) missions.
In 2020, I left UK Space Agency to take up the role of Global Head of Space Situational Awareness (SSA) at Astroscale, later becoming Director of Government Relations and Space Policy. Subsequently, I became Managing Director of HEO UK, helping to develop novel space-based imaging, known as Non-Earth Imaging or NEI.
I now works independently as director of SpaceROC, a company focussed predominantly in the fields of space safety, sustainability and resilience.
I am currently chair of the UKspace Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Working Group, Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and Member of Royal Institude of Navigation.
