Capabilities
Our services are underpinned by a range of technical capabilities, both developed in-house and from established third parties

SpaceBOX
SpaceBOX is an orbital environment visualization and analysis tool.
It is designed from the perspective of being instantly user accessible, with quick and intuitive access to a range of orbital information and analysis functions.
IOTA
The In-Orbit Technical Assessment (IOTA) toolset is designed for high fidelity analysis of activities in space. The tools enable analysis of unique or bespoke problems in the space domain, including:
-
Collision, close-encounter and proximity analysis between tens of thousands of space objects at the same time
-
Simulation of space-based sensor systems
-
Fragmentation prediction and simulation
-
Complex satellite traffic simulation for many object problems
-
Environment statistical analysis and flux, heat-map and 2D/3D visualisation
-
Financial risk and reliability impact analysis

Example of NASA's GMAT performing trajectory optimisation for a mission to Mars.
Third-party tools
To perform assessments we take advantage of several open source toolkits and libraries which have a huge range of validated functionality. This includes:
-
NASA's GMAT (General Mission Analysis Tool) is an open-source software application used for mission analysis and trajectory design. It provides tools for modelling and analysing space missions, particularly in terms of trajectory optimisation and orbital mechanics.
-
ESA's MASTER (Meteoroid and Orbital Debris Risk Assessment Tool) is a software tool developed by the European Space Agency to assess and manage risks associated with meteoroids and orbital debris for space missions
-
ESA's DRAMA (Debris Risk Assessment and Mitigation Analysis) is a comprehensive tool for the compliance analysis of a space mission with space debris mitigation standards.
